The natural charms of shell laden beaches and lush subtropical foliage and wildlife play an important part in bringing you to Sanibel Island. Our Sandalfoot beach is famous for the variety of shells that are found and the surf is generally gentle and slopes gradual, making for a great swim and shelling area for young and old alike.

After the first visit to our vacation condos, guests know they have found their ideal vacation home. Although all visitors to the island experience the joy of a retreat to paradise, there are bonus treasures for those who choose to stay in 1D3, 2D3, and 5B2. RENTAL POLICIES

To Confirm Reservations: A minimum pre-payment of 25% of the total rent, tax, plus the nonrefundable $50. Administrative Fee is required as down payment at time of booking, unless the arrival date is less than 30 days in advance. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to arrival.

Your reservation is confirmed only upon receiving an email confirmation from Sandalfoot.

Final Payment: Final payment must be received 30 days prior to arrival.  We accept personal checks payable to Sandalfoot Condominiums, E-checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.

Cancellation Notice: All cancellations forfeit the Administrative Fee (currently $50) plus any applicable taxes. Written notice received 60 days prior to arrival is required for a full refund, 31-59 days written notice for 50% refund.  Cancellations received 30 day or less notice forfeits the full reservation amount. All refunds are less the $50 Administrative Fee and taxes.  Appropriate refunds will be processed in the same manner in which payment was received.

SORRY, GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING PETS OR ANIMALS.

  • Check-in is any time after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m.  Late checkout is permitted only in the off-season. A late checkout must be arranged with the office at least 24 hours prior to departure date and time. Late checkouts are subject to a $50 late checkout fee.
  • Maximum Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is four (4) people in a one bedroom condominium, six (6) people in a two bedroom condo. Policy is STRICTLY enforced.
  • Condominium Associations Rules & Regulations: Your unit is confirmed with the understanding that every guest in your party will observe and abide by the General Rules & Regulations of Sandalfoot Condominiums. Each unit is supplied with a Unit Guest Book with Rules & Regulations.
  • Sandalfoot is smoke-free: Smoking is not allowed inside the condos, lanais, building walkways, or at the pool. You may smoke away from the buildings in the grassy areas, parking lots, or on the beach. A minimum additional cleaning charge of $300 will be assessed for smoking in the condos or lanais.
  • Damages: Guest agrees to assume responsibility of the unit during their stay and report any damages to the office immediately.  Guest(s) and visitors will be held responsible for any destruction they cause to Sandalfoot property including the interior and furnishings of the condominium they occupy.
  • Parking: Parking is limited to one (1) assigned space per unit. NO PARKING IS AVAILABLE FOR RV’S, MOTORHOMES, BOATS, TRAILERS, JET SKIS, CANOES, KAYAKS, etc.  Parking permit is issued by the office and must be displayed on the vehicle’s rear view mirror.
  • Substitutions: Should your confirmed unit become unavailable for any reason, Sandalfoot Condominiums reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations at a comparable rate.
  • Trip Interruption/Cancellation Insurance is Available: Call our on-site reservation office toll free at 1.800.725.2250 for details. * You must mention specifically which of our condos you have reserved.  Insurance is based on 7.25% of your reservation total and is available for purchase only up to the time of full reservation payment.

LOCATION

Getting to Sanibel and Sandalfoot Condos is easy.
And takes approximately 45 minutes to drive from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and I-75.

From the Airport 
• Exit the airport property by turning RIGHT onto Treeline Avenue and following it 5.7 miles to Daniels Parkway. Turn LEFT onto Daniels.

From Interstate 75
• Take Exit #131 west; Daniels Parkway. Turn RIGHT onto Daniels.

Please Note: Directions from both I-75 and the airport are now identical.

Continue on Daniels until you come to a stoplight for Six Mile Cypress; Turn LEFT onto Six Mile Cypress. You will curve past the Lee County Sports Complex and cross US-41. Once you cross US-41, the road is now called Gladiolus. Continue to Summerlin Road and turn LEFT onto Summerlin. This will take you all the way to the Sanibel Causeway.

The Causeway
As you approach the Causeway to Sanibel stay in the right lanes and have the $6 toll handy. Change can be made at the booth if necessary. Take your time crossing; speed limits are low (and enforced) and the view is breathtaking. Keep your eyes peeled – you may see dolphin in the water below you!

Sanibel
Once you have crossed the Causeway, you are on Sanibel. Just ahead you will come to a stop sign at Periwinkle Way. Continue STRAIGHT, the road is now called Lindgren Boulevard. Stay on Lindgren until it dead ends into East Gulf Drive. Turn LEFT and drive approximately 1/2 mile. Sandalfoot Condominiums are on the Gulf (right) side of the street with the red tile roof. You will be able to easily see our sign out front.  Best of all, Sandalfoot Condos 1D3, 2D3, 3C1, and 5B2 are located directly on a wide sandy beach and offer some of the best shelling in the world!

Taxis
If you are not renting a car, transportation from RSW can be arranged ahead of time by calling Sanibel Taxi at 239.472.4160. Fares will be approximately $65 for up to two passengers; each additional passenger is $10. Taxi rates in SW Florida are determined by zone, not meter.
